By visiting our site, creating an account, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service"). Please read them carefully. 2. Online Store Terms
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or destructive code through our site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the site. A breach of any of these terms will result in immediate termination of your access.
3. Accuracy of Information
We make every effort to display product colors, images, ingredient lists, and descriptions as accurately as possible. We do not guarantee that your monitor will display colors accurately. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
4. Products and Pricing
Prices for our products are displayed in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. We do not warrant that the quality of any product purchased will meet your expectations — though our 60-day money-back guarantee means you can try risk-free.
We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products we offer and to refuse any order placed with us.
5. Subscription Terms
If you sign up for a subscription ("Subscribe & Save"), you agree to the following:
- Recurring billing: Your payment method will be automatically charged at the frequency you select (e.g., every 30, 45, or 60 days) until you cancel.
- Authorization: By enrolling, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each subscription order without further action from you.
- Price changes: Subscription prices may change. We will notify you in advance of any price increases.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal or by contacting us at hello@ethoslabs.co. Cancellations made after an order has been processed will apply to the next billing cycle.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry the charge. If we are unable to process payment after several attempts, your subscription may be paused or canceled.
- Skip or modify: You may skip a shipment, change frequency, or update your shipping address at any time through your account.
6. Payment
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and other payment methods displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and other PCI-compliant processors. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping terms, delivery estimates, and carrier information are described in our Shipping & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Returns & Refunds
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee on your initial purchase. The 60-day satisfaction guarantee period begins on the date of your first delivery and covers that order only. It is not a rolling or unlimited return policy.
For subscription customers: the 60-day guarantee applies to your first subscription shipment. Subsequent shipments are eligible for refund within 30 days of each individual shipment date, provided you contact us before the next billing cycle. If you forgot to cancel and received an additional shipment, contact us and we will refund that order and cancel your subscription.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, designs, graphics, photographs, and software — is the property of Ethos Labs or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from this site without our prior written permission.
10. User Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
11. Disclaimers
Our products are cosmetics intended for topical use. They are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Statements about our products have not been evaluated by the FDA. Individual results vary. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication, consult your physician before use. Always patch test new skincare products before full application.
The site and products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ethos Labs, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our products will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ethos Labs and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our products or website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, except as provided in the Arbitration section below.
15. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our products will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and held in Iowa, or remotely if both parties agree.
Class action waiver: You and Ethos Labs agree that any disputes will be brought in an individual capacity only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative action. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
Opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@ethoslabs.co within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ethos Labs regarding your use of our website and products, superseding any prior agreements.
